Education System in India

Education is basically central to the development and a key to attaining the number of development goals and it is one of the most powerful instruments for reducing the poverty and it lays a foundation for the sustained type of economic growth. As everyone knows education is the formal learning tool for human development. In India the education system is designed in the following ways.

Primary Education

Primary education is the preliminary stage of education which has been made compulsory for all the children till 14 years by the government. We can gain primary education (I to X) through various board like state government boards, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE). The curriculum differs according to the board.

Secondary Education

After completing primary education, one can enroll in regular 2 years education with either specializing in Science, Commerce or Arts according to their area of interest or in any 03 years Diploma course listed below. 

One can register themselves in any of the below Diploma courses according to their future plans and field of interest. Please note these courses can also be done after 12th standard.
